Who is behind FundFX?
FundFX is a trading name of Introvisory Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 948814). Introvisory Ltd has been authorised by the FCA since 7 March 2022 and is based at 105-107 Farringdon Road, London.
FundFX was set up to do one job for investment funds: put their currency and payment needs in front of several regulated providers at once, and keep checking the price once a provider has been chosen. It works with fund finance teams, fund administrators and investor relations teams, and only with professional and institutional clients.
What is FundFX's approach?
Measure first, then compare, then move carefully. Most funds have never had their FX priced by more than one provider at the same moment, and few check their rate after the first year.
We start with what you pay now, measured trade by trade against the market mid. We then put your real flows to several providers without naming your fund, so the comparison is on price and service, not on who you are. If you decide to move, we plan the switch so that capital calls, distributions and completions keep running. Afterwards we re-quote your main flows every year so the price stays honest.
We publish how we do this: how FundFX works, how we are paid and how we choose providers.
Who will we deal with at FundFX?
A small London team that answers the phone and handles each fund from first quote to the yearly review.
If you would like to know who will look after your fund before you share anything, call us on 020 7566 0044 or book a confidential call.
How does FundFX work with providers?
We only introduce firms authorised by the FCA as banks, payment institutions, e-money institutions or investment firms, and we check each one before any introduction.
- We check each provider's authorisation type and firm reference number on the FCA Register before introducing it, and again at least once a year and whenever there is adverse news.
- We record how each provider says it safeguards client money, its ownership and its latest filed accounts, with the date of every check.
- We sign a written agreement with each provider before we introduce funds to it, and we only name a provider publicly once it has agreed how it is described.
- We record why each provider was matched to each fund, separately from what that provider pays us, and keep a conflicts register.
What does FundFX never do?
We never touch your money. Everything that moves money is done by the provider your fund contracts with.
- Hold, receive or route client money, even briefly.
- Make or instruct payments for a fund.
- Send, confirm or change payment details for anyone.
- Advise which product or hedge a fund should use.
- Collect or store fund KYC documents, which go straight to the provider.
- Introduce a provider that is not authorised by the FCA.
If anyone claiming to be FundFX asks you to send money or change bank details, do not act on it and call us on 020 7566 0044.
